Kekko Fornarelli Trio Showcase @Marseille
Kekko Fornarelli Trio will perform in Marseille on occasion of Babel Med Music .
The showcase is organized by TREMA , the artists - music operators network from Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, in coproduction with regional centre of contemporary music Arcade and is part of a project aiming to enhance the artists'mobility in Europe. Partners of the project PAC in Belgium, d'Orfeu in Portugal and Puglia Sounds in Italy.

The gig at Pizza Express Jazz Club in London last 3rd September was another confirmation of the Kekko Fornarelli's Trio talent. The atmosphere in the legendary Soho's club was exciting, intimate and passionate. The audience did really appreciate the performance, giving the Trio a standing ovation at the end. But something more happened. There were some critics in the club who enjoyed the gig too, and they wrote some very positive reviews.
John Fordham, sitting right behind Kekko, gave a great 4 stars to the Trio on the Guardian: "After 10 minutes it was evident that this classy threesome had very different stories to tell. Fornarelli is a skilful instrumentalist with classical roots and a subtle improviser's mind, but this band's impact is a collective achievement".
NEW PROJECTS
New projects coming soon!
An upcoming album with Rusó Sala, a charming experimental union of Catalan ethnic song writing, inspired by the traditions of the Mediterranean, on one side and an innovative jazz/electronic on the other is soon to be released.
A piano/trumpet project with Dutch Eric Vloeimans, and one with the pianist and songwriter Roberto Cherillo is also in the works.
